The Army picks 2 drones to try out to replace Shadow

After fly-off, the Army has selected two drones to proceed into a soldier evaluation phase as the service decides how it might replace its Shadow tactical UAS.

The Army is trying new drones to add to their program that are more efficient. They are looking at replacing their Shadow drones that they currently use and eventually acquiring a Future Tactical UAS (FTUAS) that will help alongside manned and optionally manned helicopters in advanced teaming.
