Close calls between drones and airplanes are on the rise. Researchers now say drones could be more deadly than collisions with birds.

This article explains how drones are increasingly interfering with planes. Drones are so easy to buy now a-days and there is no requirement for any license. There is concern that people are flying drones without knowing you must fly 5 miles away from an airport. This is showing that there are many people operating without knowing the FAA rules.
