Conservation Drones

Protection of the world’s natural resources for future generations to enjoy and study falls under the conservation category. Researchers can monitor the health of ecosystems by calculating the surface area, volume of vegetation, and other applications through a drone’s-eye view of conservation. The affordability of drones allows anyone to fly. Thermal imaging allows conservationists to track down night poachers.

  1. Conservation is such an important issue especially with the current trend of population growth going on. If we don’t continually fight to conserve these natural resources than the powerful economic forces might just pave over every inch of dirt we have. The thermal imaging cameras are really interesting how they use them to track down poachers. Makes me think law enforcement will be doing this soon too.
